Power & Flexibility
Propane torches fall into two main categories: handheld (which connect directly to a small cylinder) and heavy-duty (which connect to a large cylinder via a hose).
Key Advantages:
•High Temperatures: Propane allows for the creation of a flame that can exceed 1200°C - 1300°C, sufficient for hard soldering (silver soldering) and metal heating.
•Precise Control: The supply regulator allows you to switch from a small, "quiet" flame to a powerful, intense heat flow.
•Safety: Modern torches have safety valves and, often, piezoelectric ignition (button) for lighting without a lighter.
•Durability: The heads are made of brass or stainless steel to withstand prolonged exposure to fire.
